We´ve begun studying Ex.phil and ex.fac, the first one being a historical overview of philosophy and the other the science of philosophy. Now, logic is interesting, but illogical compared to the world we´ve built around ourselves (not the one that already is there).
In example: It´s possible to prove something wrong (falcifying it) but impossible to prove that something is right (verify it). It´s easier to take away (substract) than to add something, hence we will – if not something beautiful should happen – end with nothing. Since nothingness is worth a study, I´ll give you some points you should think about later, and when you have, please send your thoughts to me:)
Right now there´s someone waiting to use this computer, and because of my sence of solidarity I can´t let her wait.. *cough* (bull) – See ya!
- Hell is other people
- Pain is conciousness
And let’s not forget what Emo Phillips said: "The battle of the sexes will never be won as long as we keep sleeping with the enemy."
I’ve been interested in this article at meta.wikipedia.org:
«Drawbacks of Philosophical Understandings».
Intrigued by the essence of the message, quite influenced by the works of Peter Wessel Zapffe as I am, I answered it with some of the same critics I’ve recieved from my attempts to put words on my thoughts. You can read my answer on the link above.
Anyway, the author of the article answered me today! Bryan Mayo (his name) was thrilled by the thoughts of Zapffe allthough his own thoughts didn’t "seem anywhere near as depressing". Zapffe isn’t depressing though, reality is.
Have you ever noticed that bees never fly straight? This one really bugs me, though, because I think – with their resources – a normal bee could gain another 50% on speed if they didn’t flew like drunks.. Just a thought:) Any comments?
Yes, the fat bastard has decided to pay Norway a visit. Now, before we all get in the mood for a political demonstration, let’s consider this event as something we can make use of. None of us likes what’s happening down there and we all know it ain’t right, but this doesn’t allow us to throw shit in the face of Isrealis or even Ariel Sharon. People should be treated as just that, and by doing this we’ll set an example for Sharon: this is maybe you should try..
We are paying millions per hour, you and me / mr. and mrs. taxpayer, for this visit, though, so we should try to make some use of it. The Norwegian newspaper Dagbladet.no reports that Sharon has asked the Prime Minister of Norway (mr. Bondevik:) that we cut all bonds and communacation with Yasser Arafat. Even though Bondevik is the guy he is, without saying too much, he’s got the common sense needed to reply that this is out of the question. Facing the coming visit as something inevitable he is inclined to find something worth making out of it, and as we know from what is happening; it’s alot. I think the point I’m stressing is that we should look at this visit as an oppurtunity to do something useful.
But misbehave! Let the world know what’s true and what’s not, what we’re buying and what we aren’t.
Listen; I just woke up… It’s 6 p.m and time for breakfast.. Geez!
Did some stupid shit last night. Nothing I will regret, being temporarily insane, but it was nevertheless stupid things to do. Here’s how the events occoured:
- Beer at my place, watching a really entertaining children’s story with my brother and sister
- Kornelius came over, had a cigarette and I finished my 3rd beer and we were off..
- ..to Kroa, the best countrypub there is. We had a really interesting chat that was ruined by people coming and going, so we decided to
- play some pool. I won both my rounds even though I was pretty drunk at the time.
- After this we decided to drop in to the other pub (we’ve only two!!) to see if any people were still left. It was Saturday after all.
- It was some peeps there so we stayed there till they closed, accompanied with beer or something like it, all the way.
- Homewards, some parts on the run from the mob, to my house to fetch something to drink and say ‘Hi!’ to my brother.
- Me and Kornelius made some popcorn, talked a bit to his dog (Sofus) but mostly discussed daily matters of no particular interest.
- At some point I got so sleepy I almost fell asleep, so I decided to take the final walk (homewards).
- Sleep. Woke up at 6 p.m.. great! Need some junkfood, though.

Yeah. About last night. Well, my life is in a very interesting stage right now, I don’t know where I’ll live any longer. Heck, I don’t even know where in Norway and what I’ll be doing. This whole civilservice thing really stinks. Fourteen months of practically unpaid dirtywork. Well, someone has got to do it. This situation which has painted the horizon we all know as ‘the future’ with a blur which I can’t see through. Peter Wessel Zapffe (1899-1990) actually mentioned something about this in his Den sidste Messias (en. "The last Messiah"). Interesting.
Because of all this I expect my friends to be some kind of anchor to my existence. Oh, don’t ever do that! I know, I know. I rightously give a good Goddamn about most of ’em, but some of them are cool enough. Last night was bad in that sence, in addition I had too much to drink and the band that played ("Trækkplaster") insisted on a loud (,deep) bass which really turns your inside out.
Thinking about it, I think it’s about time to get movin’. Some of these people I know will never get over this stage, but who gives a shit? I don’t.
Now, let’s see if we can get this template finished…
