Finally the Female 2003 webpage has been made. A real tribute to the nominated females participating, and FOY 2003's winner: Angelina Jolie.

Little did I know when I first posted a "Girl/female of the day" of Christina Ricci that I was to create a competition that would attract world-wide attention and end in an election of over half a thousand votes. And perhaps it was this honesty or humility that made it such an entertaining and also inspiring event. It just happened.

I know it is one hour before time, but the scores are pretty uneven right now, and since me and my roommate are going to have a beer pretty soon I found it better to finish this off now than having to wait untill tomorrow (fat boy).

Here are the final results of the Official Sigg3 dot net female of the year 2003 competition:

Final number of votes: 502

The winner, beautiful Angelina Jolie, became the winner with the honorable amount of 165,7 votes while on 2nd sexy Milla Jovovich 145,6 votes had been cast. The charming Katie Holmes who had the lead for a while back and also stole the pollposition from Jenna Jameson got a total of 125,5 votes. Congratulations to all 12, in our eyes you're all winners (with perhaps a few exceptions on my behalf:) and let's not forget miss Angelina Jolie who pulled it through and was strong from the very beginning of the election.

It is my honor to officially state that the title of ms. Sigg3 dot net of the year 2003 goes to Angelina Jolie. Congrats!

Also thanks to all of the women's lawyers for not throwing a lawsuit in my face or anything. What will happen next? I'll tell you all about it tomorrow! Good night and once again: Congratulations, Angie, and welcome to Sigg3 dot net! (Oh, and thanks to all of my, Pauly's and Mirza's (among other's) readers for participating. Two of our frontmen, since I am supposed to be somewhat neutral in this matter, mr. Mirza (djMIB) and mr. Pauly (Tenzin McGrupp) from Norway and the U.S of A (respectively) have declared war on each other´s choice of Female of the year 2003.

On Mirza´s frontpage you can now read the following message (among others) directed towards all Norwegians about his Angelina Jolie campaign (interpreted by yours truly):
The battle has come down to America and Europe (specifically Norway). Allright! This is why we must make Norway and Europe proud of us. Engage all you know, don´t let the Americans win this battle! First and foremost, vote for Angelina Jolie! If Milla wins then Norway has lost, but it´s not as bad as if Katie Holmes should win. In addition to be incredible beautiful, Jolie does her part of making the world a better place (she´s a Goodwill Ambassador in the UN)!
While on the other side of the battle, the Americans are going for Katie Holmes using slogans such as: "The good... Ms. Katie Holmes, the lovely, the talented, the girl next door we all love." Here´s an excerpt on mr. Pauly´s attack on the Norwegian and European voters: It boils down to this: the US (and my one Canadian reader) versus Norway and the rest of the Eurotrash, non-showering, chainsmoking, butt-cheese... I don't know about you, but I think this is a classic battle of good and evil. While also mentioning something about the Evil Norwegian Goth-like Junta. Interesting.

Somehow the picture is painted like this: Americans vote for Holmes, Norwegians vote for Jolie, while Europeans in general vote for Jovovich.

I refuse to comment this situation in order to stay neutral, allthough Mirza has claimed me impartial by the excerpts of Pauly´s campaign on my site. A delicate matter indeed! But let men (and women) settle this in men´s (and women´s) fashion: go ahead and vote!

If my calculations aren`t that all messed up, then Sunday is the last day of voting. We`re up at approximately 315 votes but who gets to win is far from decided. Here are the top three girls:

I just need to inform you that if I am held back on the 1st of December for some reason, which could be anything, I am in Cuba for Christ´s sakes - the period of the competition will be extended until I get to a computer. I though I was going to do an update today, hoping that the count of votes would be around houndred, but damn was I wrong! Thanks to Pauly people are participating as madmen, and the turnout seems to be bigger than any democratical election in the United States:)

How to vote? Don´t treat me like an amateur, I´ve got it all sorted out; I´ve made a poll which hasn´t been made available to the public yet, but it will be. It is cookie-enabled, meaning that it feeds your computer with a cookie (a small, innocent textfile) when you´ve voted which should make it difficult to vote several times. If your browser isn´t cookie-enabled, you should fix this in the browser settings or else you might miss your chance to support your female:)

I´ve done this to prevent bat-voting (using a self-written program to vote for you again and again and again), to make the competition funnier. Now, this does not mean that it is illegal to vote more than once. If you like 3 out of 12 girls, you should vote for all of them:)

This French beauty is in the one-in-a-lifetime class of beauty, and I must say that I think she will be one of the strongest candidates when the voting begins. She was requested by DJ Metz.

She´s a 19 year old singer from the island of Corsica, and begun very early to gaze towards the showbiz. When she was 16 she released her first track, "Moi Lolita", and in two years she´d sold 4 million copies and received numerous prizes. This gal is hereby qualified to join in on Sigg3 dot net´s Female of the year 2003 contest. Congratulations.

Have you ever seen Stargate? Yes? Then you must've wondered who that beautiful girl playing Sha'Uri is! Her name is Mili Avital, a jewish actress borned in Jerusalem and raised in Ra'anana (not far from Tel Aviv).

But this beautiful, Isreali princess just doesn't show up in Action movies. Oh, no. In pseudo-western Dead Man also starring Johnny Depp she is the root of all action, the very reason Johnny Depp is forced to run away and live a life on the run... Nuff said!

She's not a very known actress, however, so you will probably find just a few pages about her on the web. I have absolutely no idea what this girl did on my list of the 12 contestants, but she looks good and has played in a large amount of movies, which at least should make her qualified*. Smuffy requested her as an essential face in any top-notch-women contests, and I bowed to his wish. We'll have to wait and see how this cat does when the voting begins....!

Female? Feminist? YES! Jenna Jameson (a.k.a Jennifer Marie Massoli), worldwide pornstar and feminist earned her own special seat among the Sigg3 dot net's "Female of the year 2003" candidates. The number of candidates has now risen to 8, which means that we've 4 good girls to go.

Believe you me, the competition will be hard, having tasted the goods... Some readers of Sigg3 dot net has written to me and asked how I can justify an abuse of the feminin sex at the rate I am, and I had to answer that I thought of this feature as an important factor in the ongoing struggle for women rights. In that sense, I decided to include one of the most well known feminists; Jenna Jameson! Enjoy!

Now, there's more for you today. Since I'm moving some day next week, all the stuff -including the computer I'm sitting at now- will be packed away somewhere. One of Sigg3 dot net readers suggested Dawson's Creek's Katie Holmes. I've never seen a single episode of this farspread show, but I can imagine it must be something in-between "Friends" and "Passions". And I really like "Passions":)

I just have to add this woman to our growing list of representative females! If you're one of those who's watched the Star Wars movies from the age of five and onwards, you know what kind of qualities George Lucas' Princess Leia had. So, girl number 5 is Princess Leia, played by Carrie Fisher. Congrats!
