As I mentioned earlier, my favourite hip-hop crew (and activists) – Alarmclock Connection – were nominated for this year’s Norwegian Hood prize. It goes to whoever the people think has done the most for the Norwegian (and International) hip-hop scene – and underground.
I’m glad to announce that they won it, December the 17th 2003. Sigg3 dot net hopes that AC can appreciate this as a token of gratitude towards their work, even though they clearly stated that: "We are naturally happy to accept the award, even if recognition of who does the most work for hip hop cannot or should not be measured in awards like this. It’s easier to notice what we do since we are artists aswell as activists".
