I’ve been quite buissy lately, doing nothing most of the time, so it didn’t came as a surprise when I discovered that – all of a sudden – one of my blog entries had reaced the latest edition of the Truckin’ zine (Vol. 3, Issue 2)! Looking through my growing inbox filled to the brim with spam I at last stumbled over an e-mail from Pauly telling me about this.. So.. Here it is:
When we got there, however, we met someone we’d seen before: the entire Afrocuban Allstars were hanging around with a group of American girls… More
I haven’t had the time to read through it yet, but since it originally was me who wrote the damn thing, I can’t see how anything unappropriate should get into it.. or? Well. You should read the rest of the zine as well, of course:)
Hey Sigge, excellent story. I’m sorry I published it without your blessings, but I had a deadline to meet and your voice was needed for the issue. Keep up the good work. See ya, McG
No problem, mate! I saw that you sent me that e-mail way long before publishing, so it’s really nothing to worry about:)
What a quote! “we met someone we’d seen before: the entire Afrocuban Allstars were hanging around with a group of American girls…” Sounds like a movie-trailer.. and me who dislike Americans! I mean, I have met and I know people from all over the world, and the Americans are the most annoying without a doubt. It’s like your atmosphere is glowing of self-rightousness and arrogance towards other and alot older cultures, making it impossible not to smell your scent when you enter a place. Of course this is not a categorical truth, some of you MUST be o.k. at least statistically:)
