Memory of khaki shorts and summer breeze

Today I wear khaki shorts. I think it was about time the summer set in so that I could put my amazing body on display. When I put them on this morning, though, I automatically starting singing this song, which I haven’t heard in ages. But the tune was there. Must be some memory about the khaki shorts. Not sure about all the words;

I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me hot in your lawn and leave
And it’s me you need to show

How deep is your lawn?
How deep – how deep is your lawn?
I really need to know
’cause we’re living in a world of tools
breaking us down
when they all could make some tea
it belongs to you and me

It just, you know.. it’s emotional. And stuff.
