The making of Crescent Sessions 2000

The album was recorded in Sagverket Lydstudio, Sjøvegan. We had the drummer (Sigge) in a 'drumbox' all mic'ed, when the bass- and guitar players were in another room doing their thing. The vocals and additional guitar tracks were added later. We used both private equipment and equipment from Salangen Skolekorps and Rockefabrikken. To mention a few we lent a drumset to 50.000 NOK, a drummic valued to 30.000 NOK, and a great deal of ordinary mic's.

Crescent had a slow start in the beginning (2000), but considering how unroutinated we were it was quite good. The quality of the first recordings were questionable, but others (as with Perfect Anarchy and Anonym/Happy face) we could'nt have done it better today.
